2012 Gibson 59 Les Paul Standard Les Paul Custom Order Dealer Select

The first thing you notice is the top. I know that this has lots of As in its pedigree, but it also has flame and quilt and figuring and colors all over and in all directions. Rare and unique — the Rosewood board is no slouch either. It is difficult to capture the warmth and the figuring in the photos, but it, too, is a standout. The ’59 spec is my favorite Les Paul, so that adds to this Custom Shop, for sure, but it is the little things that begin to add up. The light finish on the back… that light blue color is such a nice compliment to the top, but the light finish that allows the wood to peek through is very cool and gives the guitar a nice vintage vibe. The tortoise side markers are another subtle touch that you won’t find on too many Les Pauls, either. This guitar comes with the original Custom Shop 57 Classics, Custom Shop Case and CoA. The guitar is in excellent condition with only a few very small marks on and around the headstock. I have many more photos. Just ask and I can send more and I am always happy to answer any questions.
