This was removed from the box and photographed and tested. Plastic still on the pickguard. I can tell you this, she sounds amazing and plays like a dream and the detailin is spectacular. This is, by far, the best value going at Gibson right now. When you think of a 70s Black Beauty, there are several things that come to mind… stunning good looks and that T-Top tone with the tuxedo, gold and black gloss finish, but you don’t typically think of moderate weight, but this baby weighs in at a svelte 9 lbs. 10 ozs., which is preeettttty good for a Les Paul Custom with no weight relief. This is the lightest I have had. This one checks all the boxes, plus the price is right!
