The Class 5 series of Les Pauls come with highly graded maple tops, and are made to the highest specifications of the Custom Shop and while the tops are the often the selling point, and this guitar certainly has a showstopper with this 5A stunner, it also has one of the nicest Striped Rosewood fretboard I have ever seen. It certainly is the coolest. The Purple Burst Class 5, is perhaps more of a Royal Blue, but it really changes with the light, but it has Flame for days and has figuring up and down, again, depending on the light. This is a Les Paul with tons character and beauty. This one is a 1960 Spec. Lightweight at 8.7 pounds and the neck measures at .82″ at the 1st fret and .91″ at the 12″ with Long Neck Tenon and the playability of this Custom Shop Les Paul is incredible and the tone, paired with the Burstbucker pickups, really delivers. The condition is very good with only light swirls on top and some light playwear and a few light marks on back and sides, but overall, a very nice, clean instrument.
