The 2016 Gibson Custom Shop Memphis ’64 ES-345 Vintage Sunburst is a Custom Shop Reissue meticulously crafted to 1964 specifications. This Limited-Edition guitar features the highly-regarded MHS (Memphis Historic Spec) humbuckers, a 6-position Varitone switch, a lightweight center block, titanium saddles, and a rounded ’64 “C” neck profile with rolled binding for authentic tone and feel. The VOS finish includes patina and aged gold hardware for an authentic look with just the right amount of vintage look to match the feel and tone. This had the original Maestro Lyre Tremelo replaced with a Bigsby. The guitar is in excellent condition with this elite Limited Custom Shop case (a Geib reproduction). The only real cosmetic issue I can point out with this instrument are the two screw holes professionally repaired where the Lyre Trem was removed.
